Introduced during the formative years of modern motorcycle trials, the Bultaco Sherpa series is widely regarded as one of the most influential competition motorcycles ever produced. Developed by the Spanish manufacturer Bultaco in collaboration with multiple British Trials Champion Sammy Miller, the Sherpa transformed the sport through its lightweight construction, responsive two-stroke engine and exceptional agility, setting a new benchmark for observed trials machinery.
This 1967 Sherpa M27 is an early and increasingly sought-after example of the model. Produced during a period of rapid development for the marque, the M27 embodied the qualities that would establish Bultaco as the dominant force in international trials competition throughout the late 1960s and beyond. Its lightweight chassis, tractable power delivery and precise handling made it a highly effective competition mount and a favourite among both professional and club riders.
The present machine is identified by frame number B2700124 and matching engine number M-2700124, an attractive feature for collectors of early trials motorcycles. Today, the M27 occupies an important place in the evolution of the Sherpa lineage and remains highly regarded for its historical significance, distinctive styling and eligibility for classic trials events.

Although the machine is offered with an old-style continuation log-book, for VRN 'KAM 132F', this registration appears to have lapsed and does not appear on the HPI or DVLA vehicle check databases.
