At the turn of the millennium, the Mercedes-Benz CL 500 (C215 generation) represented the pinnacle of the brand’s luxury coupés and was technically based on the W220 S-Class of the time. The facelifted version, which included the 2004 model year, combines a naturally aspirated 5. 0-litre M113 V8 engine producing 225 kW (306 k) with an automatic gearbox and the ABC active hydraulic suspension.
