SIMPLEX 125 LUSSO
Leave Motors Ragusa is offering for sale on consignment a very rare vintage motorcycle, a sub-frame model built in Turin in 1926 by the "Simplex" company of Luigi Pellini, "Lusso" specification with primary and secondary chain drive and two-speed "Mega" gearbox.
Frame with rigid chassis, sub-frame fuel tank, sprung forks with dual side springs, luggage rack and stand on the rear wheel. Pastel black paintwork with gold pinstriping, red wheels. Single-seat saddle recently reupholstered in black leatherette as per original.
Straightforward 125 cc two-stroke engine with 10% fuel mix, bronze "Brown & Barlow" carburettor, "Pallas" magneto with fixed advance recently reconditioned, "Mega" two-speed gearbox with hand control, bronze clutch bell. New tyres on bead-lock rims.
