This 1963 Jaguar Mk2 2. 4 comes with a comprehensive history file, including numerous photographs documenting a substantial restoration carried out by the previous owner between approximately 2005 and 2010. The restoration continues to present very well .
The current owner acquired the Jaguar in 2019 and since then it has been carefully stored, garaged and MOT tested annually. Although it has seen relatively limited use during his ownership, it has continued to be maintained and serviced.
A number of sympathetic improvements have been made during its current l ownership, including electronic power steering and a wood rim steering wheel. The original steering wheel has been retained and remains with the car. It has also received new spark plugs and a replacement battery.
The Jaguar is accompanied by its original handbook, certificate of authentication and a complete set of tools including the scissor jack, mallet, wooden wheel nut protector and trolley jack.

The Mk2 had already been through an important chapter before it reached him. Years had been spent restoring it, carefully bringing back the elegance and character that made these Jaguars so special in the first place.
The current ownership has been more about preserving that work than covering huge distances. The Jaguar has lived a gentle life with him, kept safely garaged and brought out far less often than he perhaps imagined when he first bought it.
And that is really why he feels the time has come to pass it on.
A Jaguar Mk2 was never created simply to sit in a garage. It deserves country roads, Sunday mornings, the sound of that straight six ahead of you and the view across one of the most recognisable dashboards of its era.
The owner has looked after this chapter of its life.
Now he would like to see it go to someone who will enjoy the next one.
