Few car brands in the world enjoy more love and support from enthusiasts than Lotus. Legendary engineer Colin Chapman founded the brand in 1952 and more than once revolutionized the racing world. Under Chapman’s leadership, Lotus won seven Formula 1 titles and triumphed at the Indianapolis 500, in addition to a range of other accolades. Chapman’s mantra of “simplify and add lightness” became legendary in the automotive world.
In 2023, now under new leadership, Lotus returned to the world of international motorsports with the Emira GT4, marking the 75th anniversary of Chapman’s first car. Developed in partnership with the RML Group, the Emira GT4 is powered by a 3. 5-liter Toyota V6, tuned by Lotus.
It immediately impressed on debut when Chinese squad TORO Racing entered two Emira GT4s into the Greater Bay Area GT Cup at the notorious Macau Guia Street Circuit in 2023 and immediately secured a one-two finish.
The first 5 Emira GT4’s were delivered to China and this specific example, chassis T131-GT4-C006, was the first one delivered in Europe and has never been used on track.
The Emira GT4 is homologated for all GT4 competitions until December 31st, 2029 and eligible to compete in a wide variety of national and international GT4 championships, including the highly popular GT4 European Series, Pirelli GT4 America, the British GT Championship, Michelin 24H Series, Lotus Cup Europe and more.
We believe that it would equally well fit any collection of contemporary competition classics.
