1977 Harris-Kawasaki KR1000 KVAS Endurance Racing Replica

This Harris-framed Kawasaki has been registered to the current owner since 4th August 2020. It was built by Steve Harris as a rolling chassis to the specification of a previous owner and is an homage to the legendary KR1000 KVAS endurance racers of the late 1970s early '80s. It comes with a Harris Performance Products invoice from 2013 and a certificate of authenticity.

The machine is also fitted with an Innovate fuel/ air ratio display with datalogger and lambda sensor in the 4-1 exhaust collector. The exhaust was hand made at Harris in a welded lobster-back form and feeds into a Racefit silencer. Other notable features include a Racefit twin-filler fuel cap with QuickFill race filler; Harris aluminium fuel tank; custom aluminium breather catch-tank within the tailpiece; Brembo front brake disks and callipers; AP Lockheed rear brake; and Öhlins piggyback shock absorbers. Paintwork and graphics are all high quality. A total of 1. 500 miles is recorded on the odometer.
It should be noted that the engine number listed on the V5C is not the same as that stamped on the engine currently installed. This unique machine comes with a V5C Registration Certificate; numerous invoices; the aforementioned Harris Performance documents; and some expired MoTs.
