A UK supplied example, equipped with 3. 0 Litre Turbo Diesel engine
In the custodianship of the current owner since 2017, and just four keepers prior
Showing circa 177, 000 miles at the time of consignment
Introduced as Toyota’s answer to the growing demand for a refined yet genuinely capable 4×4, the Land Cruiser Colorado combined the marque’s renowned durability with considerably greater comfort than its utilitarian predecessors. The VX was a well-equipped five-door variant, powered by Toyota’s 3. 0-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine and driving all four wheels through a five-speed manual transmission. Furthermore it was specified with a generous level of equipment, including leather upholstery, air conditioning, electric windows and mirrors, alloy wheels and several electronic gadgets such as a clinometer. With its robust ladder-frame chassis, low-range gearing and proven off-road capability, the Colorado remained equally suited to towing, long-distance touring and off-roading. Well regarded for its mechanical resilience and longevity, the J90-generation Land Cruiser has become an increasingly sought-after modern classic.
First registered in the UK on the 12th April 2001, this seemingly indestructible off roader was supplied through Mark Kass Ltd of Chelmsford Essex and specified new in VX trim with a 3. 0 Litre Diesel engine. Passing through the hands of four keepers prior to our vendor, he bought it for use on his country estate during January 2017. Our vendor has several onsite mechanics who maintain his vehicles, but the most recent stamped service record in the accompanying original book pack shows a service at 166, 000 miles in 2024 by the Awsworth Motor Company Ltd.
Now offered for sale as our vendor is due to emigrate to Australia, it is supplied with a suite of invoices documenting expenditure over the years, the aforementioned service book and other book pack items, plus a spare wheel that will need a replacement tyre.
