Description
1965 FORD MUSTANG CONVERTIBLE V8 AUTO LHD 'C-CODE' - FOR RESTORATION The 1965 Ford Mustang Convertible is one of the most iconic versions of the original pony car. In 1965, Ford expanded the Mustang lineup from the initial hardtop and convertible models to include the famous fastback. The 'true' 1965 models featured a range of engines, including the base 200-cu-in straight-six and three versions of the 289 cubic-inch V8. Mid-1965 saw the introduction of the 'Pony Interior' (Interior Decor Group), which featured embossed running ponies on the seat backs and woodgrain accents on the dash. This vehicle was originally imported into Poland in 2019 from Minnesota USA. There is some paperwork to support this. The vehicle was then bought to the UK and has a NOVA but no V5. The car is an original left-hand drive convertible. The 4. 2 L engine is believed to be a 'C-code' 289 V8 with a 2-barrel carburettor. As per the photos, it looks to be a complete car which has been stripped down in preparation for a bare metal respray. The chassis and panels look to be in good solid condition. There are multiple boxes and bags constituent parts, including windows, brightwork, seats, trims. Together with the chassis, engine, transmission and parts- this looks to be a fairly complete car with the added bonus of being a true left-hand drive 1968 V8 automatic convertible Mustang... This vehicle is located near Rugby, Warwickshire, CV21 from where it will need to be collected. Viewing is by appointment, please contact the office to arrange.
