Offered for sale on behalf of one of our customers is this incredibly pretty 1975 Alfa Romeo 2000 Spider Veloce (S2)
The current keeper purchased the Alfa Spider in 2016 with the sole purpose of entering the Hero Regularity Rally - Scottish Malts.
Some £11, 500 of preparation works were carried out ready for the rally to include.
Brakes, engine work, suspension (Koni), Facet Fuel Pump, Radiator, Cooling fan, brake servo, brake master, clutch master, exhaust, Sump guard, Brantz Trip meter, body work etc etc.
The Alfa endured the Hero Rally with ease and finished without issue.
Since the rally the Alfa has harldy turned a wheel and has been kept in a private collection of other classic cars, around 10 miles covered and was last MOT'd Sept 2018.
The Alfa starts with ease, idles nicely with good oil pressure, the brakes all work as do all of the gears. On the road she drives great with the spritely 2. 0L, the brakes are light on the pedal, they operate but will need a good service and cannot be driven away.
The hood is in good condition with no splits in the fabric or panels.
Body work wise she presents nicely overall with some localized paint issues, could very easily be used as is or improved ready for the summer open top motoring.
