Accessory for 1970’s or 1980’s classic cars.
This tubular steel adjustable roof rack is designed to fit any car with gutters. The basket dimensions are 33”wide x 33. 5” long x 3” deep. The legs lift the base of the basket 6. 5” above the gutter to clear the car roof. The width of the rack between the gutters is adjustable from 23” to 52”, and the rear gutter fittings are 27” behind the front gutter fittings.
This roof rack is entirely complete including all bolts, washers and fittings. Some of the rubber fittings show some wear, but the rack assembles easily and completely. None of the metalwork or fittings is damaged or dented and there is no rust evident.
However it has been used and then stored dismantled and some of the adhesive from packaging tape glue has stuck to the components (these are the brown marks evident on the photo), and there are a few superficial scuff marks as well.
The rack is fairly large and weighs over 7kg. Cash on collection from Southend-on-sea area preferred, or I can post Standard Parcels for £14 after receipt of cleared payment.
