Rare chance to own a ‘two owner’ Geoff Dodkins Velocette Venom Viper 500 clubman 1962, matching engine / frame and gearbox, There are years of tax discs, all receipts from the 1960s from Geoff Dodkins, and many more, alloy flanged race rims, two way damped forks, twin leading shoe front brake, Clubman fairing, Thruxton oil tank seat and mudguards, clip-ons, rear-sets, twin clocks etc, the bike is not in show condition (it requires restoring) but it is a lovely old original velocette, the engine has huge amounts of compression, I purchased this bike to ride and restore (fuel tank now painted) reluctantly now for sale due to house sale. The most difficult question facing the new owner will be what type of restoration to carry out, a minimal one keeping its history, or full restoration making it concourse. note: in my opinion the bike will either be a ride and restore or a full restoration before being used.
