The time has come to part with my beloved Mica Blue metallic Supra Turbo, I've had it for the last 17 years and have to let it go as I've just bought an old Porsche.
It's been garaged since I bought it, initially it was my regular drive although it never went far, and then it became my Summer car, some years I only did a few hundred miles in it.
It's done 89k miles comes with a full service history and lots of receipts and M. O. T. s, original Toyota handbook too.
Manufactured in March 1991 it's one of the Mk3 facelifts which look so much nicer than the earlier models with it's streamlined rear spoiler.
In it's day it was Toyota's flagship sports car, fully loaded with lots of features like aircon, cruise control, electric adjustable drivers seat, front and rear vented discs, limited slip diff, ect power button on the auto, full leather in blue, tinted top screen, electric door mirrors (heated too I think), CD/ radio, working electric aerial. Popup headlamps fully operational.
Everything works except the rear wiper which is jumpy as theres a broken wire, this could be fixed, oh and the bonnet dampers are tired.
Tyres are all good, I fitted Smiths Revolution alloys to it about 15 years ago as the original Toyota alloys ressembled dustbin lids and did nothing for the car.
While I've had it it's had new discs all around and all new calipers, the rear set were only fitted this Summer.
I bought the Toyota maintenance manuals, these cost over a £100 and will be included in the sale.
You really don't see many of these on the road, I don't see any others in my area any more. Front on they have terrific bulging wheel arches and really look the business, 0-60 is 6. 5 secs, top end 155 mph and there's 234 braked horses.
If you want to push it it's extremely fast but I normally drive it like a hearse!
It's always started first go and I keep it on a battery conditioner when not in use.
It's had a new cambelt.
It's got M. O. T. until July 2014 and taxed until January 2014.
Doors are remote central locking and there's an aftermarket alarm. Spare key with spare remote.
There's a few minor dings and laquer scratches, I would describe the bodywork as 8/ 10 and the interior 9/ 10.
The only "modern" addition are Osram Nightbreakers.
