Ultra rare, one of the last ones made 1995/ M Honda Legend Coupe 3. 2 V6 auto coupe.
Very low mileage of only 61000, last owner of 13 years. It has 10 Honda dealer stamps in the service book and a wad of receipts from the same Subaru/ Isuzu dealer from it was bought at only 38000 miles.
I have the paperwork to warrant the mileage. Mot’d till September and taxed. Have all previous mot’s, in fact it has only done 23000 in the last 14 years. Last four mot’s: 57170, 58235, 59182 and 60489, There are no advisories on the last mot.
I have the leather wallet folder containing the current red V5 and even the older blue V5. All the books, manuals and documentation over the life of the car, even a copy of the Autocar test/ review of this powerful coupe. I have 4 original keys including the red programming key and the key in a credit card along with the original Honda factory fitted immobiliser unit x2.
The car is Bordeaux red with all original paint in excellent condition. The interior is like new, beautiful black leather as most have grey. There is absolutely no wear on the seats and wood trim. There are no warning lights illuminated on the dash, so ABS, airbags etc are all perfect. All the electrics such as the windows, mirrors, and sunroof work beautifully including the fully electric memory seats. The mirrors are also heated. The electric aerial, power assisted doors and retracting seatbelts all work.
Also has a hardwired Nokia phone cradle/ mic with matching phone supplied which routes calls through the car speakers and mutes the car stereo. The stereo is a brand new Pioneer CD/ MP3/ iPhone/ iPOD/ USB compatible. I did try to retro fit a Honda (Alpine) sat nav unit but there were too many obstacles. It is possible but time consuming; you can then add a reversing camera, USB etc. I do still have the unit which sell for about £400 on ebay. I will throw this in for free to the right buyer/ price.
It starts instantly, the 3. 2 v6 purrs quietly yet purposefully and drives absolutely beautifully without any knocks, bangs or rattles. It effortlessly glides at licence losing speeds without even trying. The auto gearbox changes up/ down smoothly as the day it left the factory. The speed sensitive power steering gives you feedback at speed and effortless manoeuvre-ability in town.
There are only 10 of these majestic coupes left on the UK roads, of which this one must be one of the top three in terms of condition, mileage history etc. In fact I’d say that in a few years there will probably only be a handful left, and of those only a couple that will appreciate in value. I believe this car is in that bracket. At the same time it is an everyday car that I have 100% faith in to jump in and drive it anywhere without any reliability worries.
If I had to be really picky I’d say that the wheels could do with a refurb, but they are quite presentable. To make it absolutely A1 probably about £200 on paint, this would make this car absolutely exceptional and a real head turner. It always gets admiring looks and comments all the time.
A bit about me, I am a Honda enthusiast and have owned more than 40 Hondas over time. The following are the highlights: NSX fixed head, NSX targa, Legend coupe X2, Accord type R x3, Preludes ranging from the MK 1 to MK 5, in all approximately 25. In fact I recently sold another one of my toys a beautiful red MK 4 prelude 2. 2 vetch UK car with factory leather and subtle body kit to a collector. I am looking for someone similar to buy this car, and will only sell to the right person at the right price.
I am in no hurry to sell and my seven year son has told me not to as he wants it for himself. Only looking to sell as my wife needs an estate and hence may px for an accord estate or even a Honda jazz.
