Rover 3. 5L with Piper Cam, Holley 4 Barell Carb, Offenhauser dual plane Manifold
Tubular stainless exhaust, Mallory duel point ignition. Reconditioned head.
4 speed manual with Overdrive 3rd / 4th.
New Discs and caliper Upgrades for the Brakes, Heavy Duty roll hoops, together with a modern electric fuel pump and alternator make this far more reliable than my daily driver!
The car has covered 500-1500 miles per year since purchase.
Currently in a good, but authentically aged condition, rather than a concourse show car.
The seats have the patina of a 1970's car, rather than a made yesterday look. The interior would benefit from some new carpet. The new owner would possibly wish to respray the gel coat body, for the ultimate finish. The Genuine knock on wheels could be renovated.
For these reasons the vehicle is priced sensibly to allow for the scope to improve the future value. Making this rare car far more affordable than most examples currently for sale.
I have owned the car for the last 10 years, enjoying every minute of ownership, I Love the Drive, pleasant attention and interest the vehicle generates, with all but the true enthusiast believing her to be a genuine example.
I have enjoyed visiting Le Mans for the 24 hours, Goodwood and various other shows over the years and achieve almost 25- 30 mpg on these longer runs.
Amazing acceleration and a glorious engine note never fail to make me smile.
This car is part of who I am, but with a young family, the opportunities to enjoy her are greatly reduced! So it is time to reluctantly find her a new home!

Sensible offers only please around £16, 450. I use the car whenever the sun shines as it is. She always starts even when left for a few weeks. For the right person, this car would make an ideal winter project, mechanically sound with opportunity to add value with cosmetic attention if desired or kept with a pleasant patina that only time and care can develop. An appreciating classic!
