Description
Restoration on this Healey started in the late 70's. The restoration was abandoned 1980. Work carried out included sandblasting and priming the frame, restoring front suspension, engine, gearbox driveschaft, rear axle and wheels. This was then put together again, test driven for a few 100m and that was it. For the todays condition see the fotos.
The engine is free, gearbox is in all gears selectable. Many parts were stored under a dry roof and are still available. The expensive thing missing is the whole front including the hood. Most other parts including a HARD TOP and 4 brand new (35 year old)chrome wire wheels are available. They are in good shape.
In addition there is the original, unristored engine with matching numbers (turning freely) as well as a gearbox with OD, but with centre shift and a rear axle with diff. as well as some surplus breakdrums and other stuff. Doors, fenders, bonnet, seats, and instruments are available.
Since the ownwer passed away early this year, I am trying to sell the project on behalve of his widow.
