Bentley 3. 5 litre ‘Pillarless Saloon Coupe’ by Gurney Nutting, year 1936. Colour dark blue with a red leather interior and red carpet. This magnificent and very rare ‘Derby’ Bentley was restored to the highest level of perfection by P&A Wood in the U. K. in the past. This fabulous multiple concourse class winner is in pristine concours (show) condition. The restoration is extensively documented. Only two other Bentley 3. 5 Litre cars with the Gurney Nutting ‘Pillarless Saloon Coupe’ bodywork are known to exist. This highly exclusive Bentley comes from a Dutch collection, the automobile is road registered in the Netherlands. This Bentley has been serviced and maintained absolutely perfect, no expenses spared. In the week-end of 21 and 22 June 2015 this special ‘Derby’ Bentley won its class (1930 – 1945) on the ‘Nationale Oldtimerdag’ concourse in Lelystad the Netherlands. This perfect Bentley comes complete with a bespoke set of suitcases and the original tool set. This fine automobile can be found with photos and descriptions in several important books on Bentley.
