- A clean dry solid driver 1967 DODGE CHARGER FASTBACK In this era of American cars, Fastbacks were a bit of a craze and the Charger was Dodges entry into it in 1966 and a real Fastback it is, swooping all the way down to the end of the car.
- The Charger utilized the chassis from the Coronet. Styling was pretty-cool with full width rear tail lights with the word Charger in block letters across it. The headlights were hidden, another thing just coming into vogue.
- The interior was another really- cool part of the car featuring front and rear bucket seats with the rears being able to be folded flat allowing for a very large luggage compartment.
- Between the front buckets lies a full-length center console and floor mounted shifter. There is a center armrest for both front and rear seats.
- Next up is the instrument panel with its cluster of four large round pods one containing water temperature and oil pressure another for fuel and alternator with one each dedicated to speedometer and tachometer. Production was limited with only 15, 788 built for 1967.
- Power is from the incredible 318 cubic inch V8 and coupled to the torque-flight transmission which are great. We just got this car back after selling it almost 6 years ago.
- A new toy caused the departure of this one and now it’s back to us. During that keeper’s ownership he had the engine rebuilt, fitted 5-spoke wheels, a 4 barrel carburetor, magna-flow exhaust and Wilwood front disc brakes.
- Still in very good condition with an appearance of a really-well cared for original rather than restored.
- The engine bay is very clean and tidy as is the trunk which is immaculate.
- The interior is in similar condition with a patina showing but again very nice for a 51-year old car.
- The body and paint is still in good condition, but ready for some minor work to bring it back to where it was 6 years ago, but it still has that original well cared for look to it.
- Factory air conditioning, power steering and power brakes are part of the package.
- Finished in its original colour (RR1) Yellow, a Soft Primrose Yellow with an Off White interior with Black piping and Black Vinyl top.
