selling my toyota MR2 1989 project car. I bought the car this year intending a light restoration but uncovered far more rust than I anticipated. I am moving country and don't want to leave the car under a cover indefinitely to deteriorate further.
The car requires new sills, which are easily sourced, and plates patched into the floors.
otherwise the interior is immaculate apart from some marks on the driver's seat (which you won't notice as you'll be sitting on them)
the engine bay is a bit dirty but the engine itself runs perfectly, as a 4-AGE should. new belts and alternator, battery.
bodywork varies. front quarter panels are brand new, doors, roof, boots and bonnets in good condition, but previous owner did a dodgy filler job behind the rear arches. paint is oxidised but just needs someone who knows what they're doing to polish up.
open to offers of course, but for asking price I will include an excellent set of original toyota alloys on good tires.
