I have for sale my wonderful sidecar combination. The ST1100 is a great bike for hauling a sidecar the torque of the V4 engine effortless pulls even when the double adult sidecar is fully loaded.
The Busmar Astral, Blackpool egg as they were affectionally known, is a remarkable sidecar. There room for two adults, luggage on the parcel shelves and in the boot. You are fully enclosed and weather proof but with a sunroof for those warm sunny days.
This 1962 example was restored and professionally fittd to the ST1100 before I bought it 8 years ago. AS you can see the oufit is beautifuuly colour matched in burgundy and silver.
The mileage is alittle over 27, 000 my previous ST1100 had 100, 000 trouble free miles on it. Sensible options include Unit sidecar leading link forks, full stainless steel exhuast system, headlight protector, fender extender and autocom.
It was MOT'd in May 2017 and passed easily with no advisories. The achillies heel of ST1100 th eswinging arm is in good condition having been hamerited when I bought it.
