The 25 special edition Peugeot 205 1fm's were built to celebrate to the 25th anniversary of BBC Radio One. These unique cars were used at a number of events to raise money for the Nordoff-Robbins Trust, the London based charity which provides music therapy for handicapped children. Over £100, 000 was raised through sales of these special edition 205s, the majority of which were sold to celebrities from the music industry.
The cars included a number of unique features offering the ultimate in style, performance and comfort. Finished in black, they feature unique "205 1fm" badging on the side and rear, and specially designed tinted alloy wheels. Inside the car offers supreme comfort with leather seats, leather sports steering wheel, air conditioning, electric windows and sunroof, and remote central locking. Aware of the need for effective car security in the 90s, the car also had an innovative engine immobiliser anti-theft system fitted from factory.
The Peugeot 205 GTI 1fm id equipped with a high performance 123bhp, 1. 9 litre engine with catalytic converter. The Clarion sound system, designed specifically for this limited edition 205, offers the ultimate in-car entertainment. It features a remote control compact disc deck, stereo radio tuner, and an acoustic rear parcel shelf incorporating four powerful speakers.
Our car retains all of its original features in full working order (including that all important head unit!). Accompanying the car is a vast history file comprising of dozens of invoices and MOTs as well as 205 1fm literature (press release, dealer brochure etc.). For good measure, we also have a brand new in the box Corgi scale model of the 1fm as well as the 1fm 25th anniversary compilation CD.
The car is in immaculate condition throughout bar a couple of some very small paint blemishes.
The car has covered 91, 000 miles from new.
