For auction 20 August at Mallala Motorsport Park, South Australia.
This car was purchased new from Clem Smith Motors West Terrace dealership by Mr Hilary Walter Friend Williamson in 1962. Mr Williamson owned and loved his Dodge Phoenix until he sold back to Clem in 2013. The car had always been regularly serviced and the engine was fully reconditioned by Clem Smith Motors in 1980 when the car reached 135, 000miles. The original Chrysler Australia Vehicle packing slip, Drivers Instructions booklet, and Dodge Certified Car Care Plan service book, complete with servicing history accompany the car along with an original sales brochure bearing the slogan Step into “Luxury Unlimted” in the new Dodge Phoenix by Chrysler.
The car is Alpine White with a red interior and is well preserved, representing a time capsule and an important keepsake in Clem’s collection. The current odometer reading is 50, 112 miles approx. presumedly being its 3rd time around.
