Description
For sale is my beautiful 1990 Volkswagen Golf 16v GTI in stunning Brillantschwarz (metallic black) with power steering and electric windows.
The ultimate, iconic 80’s status symbol.
This particular example being one of the latter of the Mk2s, being first registered on the 8th August 1990. The car has been immaculately kept throughout her life, totally unmolested and original (which is a real rare find these days) and only covered 122k miles from new, which is a very reasonable mileage on a car close to celebrating its 20th birthday!
She is in excellent condition inside and out, with no wear to the drivers side seat, which is unfortunately so often the case on these cars (I looked at many before purchasing her!).
She has been through a recent full service, had a recent exhaust system, new timing belt fitted and new front brakes and also re wax oiled (no expense spared). This really is a true collector’s item.
The car is fitted with a Clifford G5 Concept 650 Thatcham approved alarm system and immobiliser with remote central locking. She also includes a sunroof, Kenwood CD player and alloy wheels.
It has an extensive history file arranged in a large document folder, including service history with stacks of receipts and bills from over the years.
The car has been kept garaged and unused during the winter months and has just flown straight through an MOT with no advisories, and so is sold with 12 Months MOT.
The car is an absolute pleasure to drive and a true VW classic for an enthusiast. Lady owner with a genuine reason for an extremely reluctant sale. Please don’t hesitate to contact me for any further information you would like about the car.
Viewing is an absolute must if you are seriously looking for a Golf MK2 16v GTI as the pictures really don't do it the justice she deserves; it took me quite some time, and many other viewings to find her! If you would like larger pictures, or a picture of something particular, I would be only too glad to help and will send them to you via email.
Thank you for looking!
