Description
This wonderful original Z1 I have owned for at least 15 years, and it is a fantastic classic car that always turns heads wherever I go. I have done many classic car tours from the Tour Ecosse, Tour of Tuscany, Tour of Brittany etc and the car has always performed without any problems. The engine is that wonderful smooth 6 cylinder 2. 5 litre 325i engine that has been a long standing favourite of BMW connoisseurs.
The car has covered only 58, 000 miles from new in 1989, and the only repair that I have needed to do in all those years is a water pump and a cambelt for the drivers door, as the doors rely on one to take them up and down into the sill. The car has been maintained and serviced whenever necessary, but has spent a lot of its life with me in a garage under a tailored soft car cover. At the moment on SORN.
A nicer and more useable classic would be harder to find, and the body which is made of high tech plastic never suffers any rot
