Your chance to purchase and own a fiberfab bonito in the UK. These are a rare kit car, dont come up for sale often and when finished can fetch upto 20, 000 EURO. They are popular in europe and worldwide.
This vehicle is based on a 1970 VW Beetle Chassis, using the Beetle V5/ Reg. As its a beetle chassis, its just a body swop, you could remove the body and refit a beetle body for example. Chassis is unmodified.
This is a project that needs completing. I bought the car after been stood for over 10 years. Everything was seized. I removed the body and worked on the chassis.
The chassis has been refurbished with new floor pans, new brake discs, new wheel bearings, new brake hoses, new brake pipes, new brake master cylinder, pedals stripped and reassembled. New balljoints, new suspension rubbers, new track rod ends. The chassis is painted chassis black to protect it.
The engine is type3 (better cooling) aircooled engine. It has been rebuilt and is now 1641cc. It is a twin port engine, running twin carbs. It has a new clutch to suit the beetle gearbox, new starter motor, tinware etc painted black.
The chassis is rolling on a set of rare turbovec (A-Team van) alloys. 14" on the front and 15" with a deeper dish on the rear. This gives the car a really american super-car look in my opinion. The wheels are rare/ hard to find and worth afew bob alone.
The body has since been refitted to the chassis and thats has far as ive got. The car is for sale due to a upcoming house move.
The car will need fully wiring, exhaust system, doors refitting, full interior etc to complete. It is at the point where you can finish the car to your own style.
It is rolling and can be man handled onto a trailer/ truck for collection.
