Toyota Celica GT4 ST205 (Original WRC)

The car was imported in 1998 and manufactured in 1995 (as shown on V5) but when registered was given an L prefix on the number plate. I have owned this car since 2012. This is a genuine WRC edition with the higher rear spoiler, bonnet spoiler, charge cooler water spray (not connected) and turbo antilag pipework (also not connected).

The car has the high Japanese specification as most imports do including Climate control, full electrics, retracting mirrors etc. It also has a GT alarm & immobiliser and CD player with Bluetooth.
The car has a number of modifications as listed most of which were prior to my ownership of the car. Tein lowering springs (20mm I believe), Greddy Profec B electronic boost control, Blitz Nur Spec back box, Hybrid Turbo Charger, Decat pipe (I have the original Cat and will include this in the sale). 17inch OS superturismo Alloys which I believe are now quite rare, these have matching Pirelli P Zero tyres with lots of tread.

All of the modifications were completed by the previous owner and I have a printout from a Dyno showing 285BHP with 1 Bar of boost which is what the car has always run. This test was with the Cat and a different hybrid turbo so I would think it is circa 300BHP. The car has been well cared for and I have only driven a few thousand miles in the time I have owned it.

The engine is strong and pulls well and although the gearbox works perfectly well there is a very small graunch if you rush the downshift into third. Changing gear up through the box is fine and on the downshift into third it is fine if you don’t rush it. I don’t really notice it anymore and it has not got any worse in the five years I have had the car.

I have recently serviced the car and changed the cambelt and water pump. In the last year or so it has also had a new radiator, battery, exhaust flexi and alternator. A new Spec Clutch was fitted a few thousand miles ago by the previous owner.

MOT until September 2018

The car has covered 129, 000 miles, this is a mix of kilometres and miles so I would imagine it is at about 90, 000 miles. The speedometer has been converted to MPH.

The car is in good condition but the paint work would need some attention to make it perfect. There is some paint cracking and slight paint damage on the front bumper (this was due to the previous owner knocking a bollard I believe) and is shown in a picture. There is some lacquer peal and crazing on the driver’s door, nearside rear wing, wing mirrors and roof as shown in the pictures. There are some rust bubbles on the sills but they are not serious and the car has just passed the MOT with no advisories.
