For sale is my stunning 1998 Mercedes Benz e55 AMG.
This car is in fantastic condition as it is has been kept in a dehumidified garage and does not suffer from the usual corrosion issues as seen on pretty much every other W210 Mercedes, including the AMG models. It is now kept in an air circulating Carcoon.
Another unique feature of this particular car is that it has a full Mercedes Dealer Service history. This is pretty much unheard of in cars of this age. I literally have invoices for thousands and thousands of pounds as not a penny has been spared in keeping this car to the standard it is in. Every MOT and invoice has been retained in a huge ring binder.
This AMG drives very strongly indeed with phenomenal power and a great sound track to go with it. It handles beautifully helped of course with the matching Pirelli rubber and pulls up strong and straight. On a run this big V8 will turn in close to 30 mpg and on average overall driving I see 23mpg which considering the engine and performance isn’t bad at all.
There have only been two previous elderly and fastidious owners.
The car has 137k miles on it which proves it has been used which is important with vehicles of this type. Electrical and mechanical gremlins can creep in on vehicles only used sparingly.
The car will be sold with a full MOT and has also just been freshly serviced at MB.
The bodywork is clean and straight and the interior is in lovely condition with no rips or tears. There is only very minor wear but only to be expected on a car of this age. Everything works on the car, including the air conditioning which blows out ice cold.
An aftermarket and upgraded head unit has been fitted which seriously compliments the Bose speaker system. Furthermore, this unit allows your smart phone/ I phone to connect up not only allowing your personal music to be played but also incorporates a hands free mobile phone facility.
This AMG is also fully HPI clear and is really a one-off with its condition, FMBSH, only 2 owners and the way it drives.
This particular car in this condition will only increase in value.
