Beschreibung
According to the British Motor Industry Heritage certificate, that accompanies this quite excepional Triumph TR4 A, Chassis number CTC/ 71005 was built ay the Coventry factory on the 14th of July 1966. The certificate states that the car was painted in signal red, it's present colour. The car was then supplied to Miles Ltd of Maidstone, Triumph dealers. The car has some just 7 owners since 1974. In the early 90s the car was subjected to a full grond up restoration by a BMW dealer in Northamptonshire. In 2016 the car was entrusted to world renown TR specialists 'TR Bits' for a complete renovation which cost in excess of £20000. The history contains a photographic record of all work carreid out. The result being probably the best Triumph TR we have had the privilege to offer for sale.
The car is finished in signal red with a black leather interior, a Motalita steering wheel and door mirrors. The car runs with Overdrive on 3rd and 4th gears. The TR is fitted with chrome wire wheels and 165 X 15 Vredestein tyres. A number of spares such as brake drums, brake shoes and some spare coil springs are included in the sale together with a tailored car cover in red.
The history file is very large and includes new and old log books, old MOTs, a thick pile of copy invoices, copies of correspondence between prvious owners, Heritage cerificate and a log of all work carried out over the past 10 years.
In summary I think you would find it very difficult to find a better example on the market today.
