Very Rare chance to purchse a Austin Heavy 12 Taxi With a Goode and Cooper Body. Its a low Loader been post 1935 so is easier to get in and out of than the pre 1935 high lots. This Taxi is belived to be one of only 3 remaning Goode and Cooper bodies thats known of. I bought the car few years ago part restored and finished her off. The body on the car was re bodied by a man who worked for Stanley Man Bentley on the outskirts of London. He was a relative of the original owner of the car. Due to ill health he couldnt finish the car and it was subequently sold. The car was belived to have been laid up during the war and wasnt descovered untill the late 60's early 70's. The car has had a grond up restoration and has only been back on the road for a couple of years! The interior is all new leather and the roof is done in expensive moehair for longlivity.
