Descrizione
This model is a magnificent Simca 1000 coupé from 1966. It is of Italian origins, more precisely from Sardinia. It has a beautiful red livery with black interior and it is untouched and therefore eligible to coucours. It came third at the last Swiss coucours due to its remarkable presentation.
Its current owner, a careful collector, looked very well after it and wishes to sell it for a future acquisition. Paint and interior are in pristine conditions and they are almost as new. The wood and leather dashboard is beautiful and the seating comfortable. Everything is desirable in this car, including the leather stitching which give the impression to be in a unique car. The engine works perfectly and fires immediately even from cold.
A few components are not from origin such as the gear knob, installed by the first owner, a keen seaman from Sardinia who fitted it with an apparent helm. It is the same with exhausts installed by the present owner for better sound quality and improved performance. Our little Simca works perfectly from that point of view. The engine is highly responsive. The original exhaust will be provided with the car along with its original toolkit and jack.
With only a few hundred models allegedly still in existence and in such pristine conditions, this Simca 1000 Coupé is undeniably a collector’s item, almost impossible to find nowadays.
