The Simca 1301, introduced in October 1966, represented the natural evolution of the 1300, with which it shared engines and mechanicals.
The 1301 retained the same stylistic approach as the 1300, with the same three-box, four-door body, but with a longer nose and tail to allow for greater load capacity, with a longitudinal front engine and rear-wheel drive.
The front featured a new grille, while the previous circular headlights at the tail were replaced by two horizontally positioned rectangular headlights.
The engine was a 1290 cm³ Rush that delivered 54 HP, fed by a single-barrel carburettor, which allowed the Simca 1301 to reach a top speed of 135 km/ h.
The car is visible in our showroom in Reggio Emilia, Italy.
