What a vehicle. 1942 War time scripted body Jeep GPW.
What a privilege it has been to own this piece of automotive and war time history. I wish that cars could talk as I am sure this Jeep would have a story or two to tell.
Recently benefiting from new seat covers, new roof and door covers, new fuel tank, shock absorbers, light switch, water pump and radiator.
Still original 6v as it should be.
She drives great, high and low ratios work as does the 4-wheel drive.
Tub is in good condition with no corrosion issues. It really has been a hit with my nephews. It’s the first time they have considered me cool !
Not restored condition. She has obviously been painted over the years and has a patinaed looked. From speaking to enthusiasts and people at shows this generally adds to the character of these vehicle and it they way people want them.
Shovel and pick are on mounted to the vehicle.
