Exterior:
Overall this car presents itself very well and the majority of the paintwork is good. There are a few locations that will need some attention in the future including; bottom of front wings, rear arches, boot lip ( nearest glass ) and some tidying could be done to the inner wings. However, the car is generally solid and these few items do not destroy the cars image.
Interior:
The interior has lasted the test of time well with only a few signs of wear. Seat bolsters are good and there are no serious cracks to the leather seats with the rear ones being immaculate. There are a few marks to the floor carpets but these could be replaced. The electric seats all work in the many ways they move apart from the vertical movement on the drivers head rest.
Mechanical:
The engine and gearbox are incredibly smooth and these cars have been seen to do over 200k miles on many examples. There is an extensive history with the car documenting nearly everything it has had over the years and for the majority of it's life it has been kept in a garage along with his other vehicles.
Overall:
This really is a great usable example that has many more years of life in it with some general maintenance. It is a joy to drive and gets lots of attention wherever it goes. The current owner of nearly 30 years is reluctantly selling only as it doesn't get the use and attention it deserves. It's a true original example that just needs some TLC to bring it back to it's true glory.
