Imported into the UK in 2007 and owned by a very good friend for 5 years prior to my ownership, the car has been well looked after and I really am in two minds about selling it as they are destined to become an appreciating classic.
As can be seen from my attached pictures, the car looks superb with its glossy black paintwork and contrasting gold alloy wheels. It receives a staggering amount of attention and I think that this is mainly down to the fact that it still remains standard looking.
On the road the car is a pleasure to drive. There are no nasty knocks, rattles or creaks and it feels tight and precise. The car pulls as it should through the gears and the clutch bite is low and is also light to operate. There are aftermarket drilled and grooved brake discs fitted front and rear and they have not seen much use since fitting.
The interior is in superb order with no untoward wear and tear and it all smells fresh with no evidence if it having been smoked in. Everything works as it should and the seats are very supportive and comfortable.
As expected, the car sounds lovely thanks to it having a large "bell mouth" downpipe and a full stainless steel exhaust fitted. It gives the car a purposeful engine note and that distinctive flat four burble is exaggerated without it being over the top. Apart from this the car is standard. There is no boost controller or dump valve fitted.
The car has a LONG M. O. T which it passed with NO ADVISORIES. This is valid until the 30/ 10/ 2018 and it has covered less than 20 miles since testing.
The timing belt and water pump was replaced by the previous owner and not that long ago, but unfortunately I do not have any evidence to prove. I have had the rocker cover gaskets replaced recently as there was a very slight weep on one - which is a very common issue. The radiator was replaced recently as the old one had seen better days.
All of the tyres are excellent and as far as I am aware the car will need no money spending on it in the immediate future apart from the obligatory road tax.
The car has not been converted to show miles per hour therefore the speedometer and mileage still reads in kilometres. It came into the country in 2007 showing 93, 110 kilometres and the mileage showing now is 194, 224 - so this would equate to 120, 685 miles.
Obviously there are the usual age related marks here and there and there is a little bubbling starting to appear on the rear wheel arches - which is common on the Impreza, but please don't let this put you off as I am just being as honest as possible and at the end of the day it is an old car now.
This really is a lovely car and would be an ideal investment as the Impreza has been earmarked to become a desirable future modern day classic. Near to standard examples such as this are now becoming thin on the ground so perhaps this would be an ideal candidate for the shrewd investing car buyer.
I welcome any questions you might have and viewings are welcomed. I am also happy if you would like to send an independent organisation such as the AA or RAC to inspect the car on your behalf as I have nothing to hide. However please don't turn up if you merely want to take it for a joy ride as this will not happen!
Thank you.
