Description
For sale is my 2016 AJS Modena 125 I bought it from Rumblers Motorcycles an Official AJS dealer on the 29/ 07/ 2016, this model is the last of the carb models and is simpler to maintain. As you can see it is finished in blue with heavy chrome accents. I have added some period decals and stickers (removable) and a brown leatherette seat cover which finishes it off well. Other items that I have added are a pressed aluminium period number plate on the rear and a custom stainless exhaust system from Rumblers, it really sounds fantastic nothings like a 125cc. I bought my Modena new so a comprehensive paperwork record has been kept including bill of sale and services. The scooter is in excellent condition the only issue is the kick-start is not working, I only ever use the electric start. The scooter has covered just over 5000 miles and has been great fun, last year I took it over to Brittany in France on my trailer and covered over 600 miles. It has also been up to the north of Scotland as well. In terms of upkeep no expense has been spared. I believe what I am asking for it represents a bargain considering there about £1600 new now. I have detailed below both servicing and parts plus costs. The reason for sale is I have bought a Vespa project and space is an issue.
