Here for sale we have a smart and increasingly rare to find in good condition, Lightweight Land Rover®, as parachuted out of planes during the cold war! This is the sought after and less troublesome 12 volt version - easy to maintain and repair.
On the outside, this truck has lots of the attributes one hopes to be retained on a good example - it has wing mounted mirrors, front and rear bumperettes, bonnet mounted spare with retaining strap, a full set of military style 750 chevron tyres (these not only look good, but are superb off road and "up gear" the vehicle slightly due to the larger rolling radius), correct front grill with bridging plate, and a recent canvas.
Being a 12 volt example, the interior has three recent front seats. Deluxe matting is fitted throughout, and the rear is unfitted, save for the mat. A pair of bench seats with belts can be added if desired.... please see our accessories page on the website for photos and prices. The rest of the interior and dash is all there, and very "standard" which is always nice to see. The heater remains too, so it won't be too cold, even on those dark winter nights.
Out on the road, the 2286cc engine pulls very well, having recently had a full oil and filter service.... also carried out was a radiator flush with fresh antifreeze ready for the cold weather. There is a book of bills and receipts for works carried out - it really does drive well and appears to have been very well looked after... nice to see.
If you are looking for a smart and solid lightweight, then this is worth considering..... we don't get many in, especially smart, 12v examples with MOT and tax exemption in petrol, so if interested, drop us a line without delay! It's ready to drive and enjoy, come winter OR summer.
