Here for sale is a smart Series 3, converted to run on LPG, giving unrivalled economy over standard.
Externally, the bodywork is in really good order, with the paint being of an usually good standard. There is a bonnet mounted spare and free wheeling hubs too for even better economy.
The interior has three front seats fitted with the rear housing the LPG tank. A further two single rear seats could be fitted if required. Door cards and deluxe matting adds to the smart appearance internally.
The LPG system works very well, and is both certified and logged with the DVLA - so the paperwork hoops have been jumped through with this one, making it a fully "legit" conversion. Coupled with the free wheeling hubs, this should give period 4x4 driving at around 40mpg!
In summary, this is a smart Series 3, capable of dealing with any "Beast from the East", whilst being economical to boot.
