The Appeal

The Toyota Celica GT-S convertible marks a unique chapter in Toyota's sports car history, as it was one of the last rear-wheel-drive Celicas before the platform transitioned to front-wheel drive in subsequent generations. This 1985 example is particularly unusual as it's one of the limited ASC (American Sunroof Company) conversions, with only 4,248 units produced for the U.S. market that year.

Having spent its life in the warm, dry climate of California before being imported to Lithuania, this Celica benefits from good preservation, particularly underneath where rust is often problematic on vehicles of this era. The combination of its original 2.4-litre 22R engine, five-speed manual transmission, and period-correct modifications like the König wheels gives this convertible both authenticity and enhanced visual appeal.
