Our example is a 1964 model and was restored in Switzerland in 2009, it has then lived part of its life under the Spanish sun, the underpinnings are sound and the work has been carried out with care.
It has a Targa roof called Surrey Top which gives it an incredible line taking advantage of the coupe and cabriolet without the disadvantages. The paint looks good and shines. The rims are new and fitted with Vredestein sprint Classic tyres in very good condition. The chrome is perfectly shiny. As for the upholstery, it is in perfect condition. The wooden Moto Lita steering wheel blends in perfectly with the painted dashboard, lending a typically British charm to the cabin of this little Roadster. The engine behaves well, starting easily without noise or smoke, and its tuning is completely satisfactory.
The gearbox guides and locks correctly, and is equipped with overdrive. The running gear behaves well, the steering has no abnormal play, the braking is well balanced, and the suspension does its job properly. An additional fan has been fitted, as well as a high-torque starter motor for greater reliability.
