Real model with optional v8 ( serial n° VE55...) which goes to 12 volts on this occasion.

700 Corvettes were produced in 1955, most of them equipped with the v8. As a reminder, 3, 640 Corvettes were produced in 1954, only available with 6 cylinders. The rest of the C1 Corvettes (56-62) were produced in numbers of 3, 467 in '56, 6, 339 in '57, rising to over 9, 000 in '58 and gradually increasing to over 14, 000 in '62.
The 1953 (300 examples) and 1955 are therefore the rarest Corvettes ever produced.
All original except paint (+colour), ignition (electronic for reliability) and remote brake assist (no modification of the original system, just an addition). Some paint defects, original chrome in very good condition, interior, underframe/ chassis, soft top,... also in very good condition.
