Description
Reconstruction of the prototype built by Jean Daninos at Figoni in 1933 on the basis of a contemporary 1933 Rosalie 15A. The vehicle was redesigned identically to the original and built by myself, a vehicle and concept car architect, on a Rosalie chassis with all-steel bodywork, a speciality of Mr Jean Daninos.
The engine is a rare Rosalie 15 - 6 cylinders with a "Bernard Lyon" 3. 4 litre kit, overhead valve cylinder head and side camshaft block. 200 km since new (vehicle mainly intended for shows).
It was exhibited at the Citroën Centenary Celebration in 2019, at Automédon, the Bourse d'Échange de L'Aigle, at Epoqu'Auto Lyon, and at Auto Moto Rétro Rouen in 2023... It appeared in Clovis Cornillac's film "Couleurs d'incendie" in 2020.
Took part in the Art Auto Concours d'Elegance at Gambais in 2021 Was the subject of an article in Citroscopie No. 74 of 2019, featured in L'Authentique No. 7 of 2019, in L'Amicale Facel magazine No. 133 of 2020, in the L'Aventure Peugeot Citroën DS newsletter No. 10 of 2020... Was featured on the Dad and Will blog in September 2019 and on the Absolutely Cars blog in March 2020. On the administrative side, its collector's registration number, as well as its manufacturer's plate bear the interior serial number of the contemporary Rosalie 15A base car at Daninos.
