Beautiful Simca 1000 slalom racer, with its SLALOM passport. Pure competition car, not homologated for the road. Very sound. I also have an up-to-date FC passport for hill-climbing. You'll need to change the fuel tank, the fire extinguisher and the bucket. I can also supply a genuine R2 registration document that's in order but doesn't match the car. And very light: The whole front end is a single removable polyester block that I handle myself. The bonnet and rear panel are made of polyester. The windows are polycarbonate, except for the glass windscreen. I can't see any way of saving any more weight. Roll bar running from the front suspension to the rear suspension. Non-triangulated front axle. BMW rear axle. Mechanics in perfect condition: Ferry 1440 engine with two Weber 45s. Hewland MK9 gearbox with 5 reverse gears (first gear down on the left) with a very large autoblocker. 13 diameter wheels and 10 wide at the rear. A used Hewland MK9 gearbox in perfect condition sells for more than €5, 000, which justifies the price of this car compared with a Simca 4-speed gearbox.
