Description
Very nice Mini, rally look, built in 1973, Mk3 with the appearance of a Cooper Mk1. The car has received several upgrades during its restoration (2010-2015), including: - 1275 block (from Austin 1300 GT) - Cooper spec cylinder head - extra oil cooler - HiLo suspension - Safety cage (fully available, only the rear part is currently fitted) - Harness belts (3 points also fitted) - Front disc brakes - . The restoration was carried out as a hobby project by a professional mechanic, information can be obtained on request, but there is no real documentation of the restoration. In addition, the car is currently fitted with all the accessories required to drive regularity rallies: - Crankcase plate - Brantz international 2 trip master - Cibie Oscar headlamps - ... No expense has been spared on this car. Since 2018, the car has been in the possession of its current owner. Major work has always been carried out by the renowned specialist Garage Descamps. The main work has been carried out since 2019: 2019: cylinder head overhaul + new clutch system + CSI ignition 2021: new brake master cylinder 2022: rear drum brake overhaul (complete system), new front tyres 2023: front wheel bearings & new clutch kit after technical failure, electric windscreen washers, new windscreen wipers.
2024: carburettor tune-up, new air filters, replacement rear brake cylinders, replacement speedo cable. The car has some minor damage (due to use), but this is purely cosmetic, nothing structural. This Mini looks and drives like a Cooper, but at a fraction of the price!
