Timeless and iconic PORSCHE 356 C, the latest and most accomplished with its disc brakes, the mother of the 911. Spectacular and desirable in its very rare original colour sky blue. Delivered in Los Angeles in February 1964, owned by an American journalist. Imported from the USA in 1995 by a famous Paris-Dakar motorcycle rider. Subsequently owned by a Porsche mechanic who deeply restored it, including a new engine (numerous invoices). It has covered 18, 500 km since new up to today. Reacquired and restoration continued by Atelier des Coteaux, including, among other things, an immaculate new paint to date. Very important file of history and invoices as well as expert certificates over time. Owner since 2022, I have further improved the restoration quality for a budget of €20, 000, including conversion to 12-volt, new exhaust, reconditioning of Solex carburettors to stay matching, removal and engine opening to confirm the low mileage, and while at it, glaze the sleeves and change rings as well as lead-free guides. All matching: body, engine, gearbox, colour, Sonauto certificate and above all genuine factory KARDEX from the era. Blue vinyl upholstery... “perhaps period?” in satisfactory condition. Roof lining impeccable. Carpets and floor mats very good. Chrome wheels as period option, tyres new at 90%. All chrome in good condition. Normal registration certificate, reversible to a collection-friendly state if desired. Appraised in 2025 at €125, 000. Can be considered very close to “concours.” Flawless operation, comparable to what it could have been in 1964, lively and fast. Stored in a private, individual garage under a cover provided.
