Very special 1956 oval Beetle restored by panoff. This oval Beetle was restored in panoff between 1994 and 1998 and documentation exists. The colour is the original L324 Polar Silber. The car was restored by Mr Salo from Finland completely to his taste and he didn't save on anything. The car was converted from 6 to 12 volts. The interior was reupholstered in 2014, the front seats are from the Golf MK I, the steering wheel is a classic steering wheel reproduction, the radio is a Blaupunt radio from the 60's with quick select buttons, completely repaired + MP3 input. The engine is a VW Typ 2/ T3 CT, 1700 cm3 (drilled 1600 cm3), hydraulic lifters, Street Eliminators cylinder heads with 42 mm valves, twin Dellorto carburettors, CSP Super-Competition stainless steel exhaust system with heater. 89 bhp / 150 Nm measured on a chassis dynamometer. Rear 2-circuit drum brakes, front disc brakes, aluminium wheels with original bolt-on timing, tyres in good condition. Vintage speed short shifter.
