The Squire SS100 is a faithful replica of the legendary Jaguar SS100 from the 1930s, powered by a reliable, easy-to-service Ford drivetrain.
Only 50 units produced between 1972 and 1973, making it a rare and sought-after model for collectors.
Works & restoration
- Full restoration late 2000 / early 2010:
- Interior black and red, cockpit dashboard made of hand-polished satin walnut
- Shock absorbers, brake lines, carburettor, spare wheel new
- Electrical system redone October 2022 (wires & harnesses new)
- Magnaflow exhaust system approved
- Rear lights replaced with a more vintage-looking model (reversible modification)
- Radiator loom redone in May 2025, with coolant drained
- Sold with leather hood, roll bar in very good condition, removable side windows
- Windscreen to be refurbished (threaded rod broken to drill out and replace)
- Non-smoker vehicle
Administrative situation and recent maintenance
- French collection registration certificate
- Technical inspection of 6 June 2025:
- Issues raised have since been addressed, including:
- Replacement of rear wheel cylinders
- Adjustment of jaw spacing (automatic take-up)
- Lubricants changed:
- Coolant
- Engine oil
- Rear brake fluid
- A new technical inspection will be carried out before sale, for delivery to the new owner.
