Rare: this top-spec finish was the era’s flagship, with its leather-and-wood interior, air conditioning, alloy wheels, electric windows and central locking. My example also benefits from a factory sunroof option.
What makes this Griffe truly exceptional is its original mileage: just 21, 700 km! It’s a genuine time capsule, having spent 28 years carefully preserved in a locked garage. The 5-door Griffe version is considerably less common than the 3-door, so its rarity is indisputable.
Comprehensive professional reliability work: Ahead of its technical inspection (test passed on 12 May 2025 with only a minor fault on the windscreen wash system and a dent on the wing) and valid until May 2030 (Vehicle with COLLECTOR REGISTRATION DOCUMENT), this 106 has benefited from a full overhaul and meticulous reliability work by a specialist of automotive preparation. This includes:
- Full timing belt kit (timing belt, water pump, idlers)
- Drive belt, thermostat, radiator sensor
- All fluids (coolant, brake fluid, engine oil)
- All filters (oil, air, fuel)
- The four spark plugs, wiper blades, battery; everything is new
- New tyres, all four plus the spare wheel
- Expert consultation for the immobiliser/ anti-theft controller.
It is therefore mechanically ready to show its claws!
Notes for complete transparency:
Remote central locking (with the key) does not function correctly.
There is a small dent on the front left wing of the bodywork and two small ones on the roof.
These points have been taken into account in the asking price.
Status "Collector Vehicle" : FFVE (Fédération Française des Véhicules d'Époque) certificate issued for obtaining a collector vehicle registration and confirming its historic interest and future benefits (longer intervals between MOTs, access to low-emission zones, cheaper insurance, etc.).
