Alfa Romeo 2600 Sprint in strictly original condition - meticulously preserved as new by only 3 owners. Clean history and a very nice file (purchase invoice 1962, Swedish MOT history, maintenance invoices, sale invoice from Aaldering Gallery...). Even the complete tool kit is present!
Its 6‑cylinder 2, 584 cm3 engine, fitted with three Solex double‑body carburettors, is in perfect health and overseen by a specialist. It starts reliably when cold and hot and revs up smoothly. The gearbox, steering and braking are also in perfect condition.
The bodywork, never repainted, which adds to its charm, presents very well. The chrome is in excellent condition and the sills show no corrosion, confirming meticulous maintenance and perfect conservation.
The blue leather upholstery, entirely original, shows a superb patina that adds character to the cabin. The leather-and-metal dashboard is complete and everything works, even the original radio!
Registered in January 1963 in Sweden, its first owner kept it for over 50 years with the Swedish technical inspection records throughout. He was so attached to it that a plate bearing his name was mounted on the dashboard. Upon his death, the car was imported and sold in France in 2016 by the well-known dealer Aaldering Gallery, benefiting from a full service and continues to be cared for and maintained in the same spirit of original-condition preservation, with a file and invoices proving it.
Total reliability: the 2600 recently did the Biarritz–Lille journey in utmost comfort and reliability! It now participates in outings with the Alfa Romeo Club of Hauts‑de‑France and was recently exhibited at Rétromobile in Arras.
