Description
This 240 carries its French historic registration, it is of Belgian origin (BMC in Brussels), the importer equivalent to DELECROIX ROYAL ELYSÉES in Paris.
The Jaguar Heritage certificate is available. It is a rare model since only 159 units were imported into France. It’s the ultimate MKII model, and in my view, its bumpers lighten and enhance the line of this saloon. The bodywork, given its age, is in good condition. The interior is in AMBLA (a synthetic leather) which has a virtue: better preservation than natural leather. It is equipped with options uncommon for this model: wire wheels and fog lights. Upholstery work 2022: floor mats, roof lining and sunshade, floor mats. Mechanical work 2025: fuel pump, dynamo, regulator, ignition kit and loom, battery, engine oil change, gearbox and differential. The engine is a 2. 4L, it runs smoothly on SP98 without additives, it breathes better with its new air filters (the original one is available), it has a stainless steel exhaust. The 240 is sheltered and will be supplied with its protective cover. The MOT is favourable. To cure a minor fault on the front dampers, they were replaced in early February. More than €3, 000 spent on getting it ready for sale. A beautiful chance to drive, with a reasonable budget, an eternal Jaguar!
