The bodyside is in excellent show condition. It was restored in 2020 (invoice: €8, 500). On this occasion the bodyshell was entirely dismantled to receive a complete new paintwork; photo dossier available: removal/ reassembly, engine gearbox, seats, dashboard, glazing, doors, boot, bonnet, bumpers, handles and locking, full cradle sanding, priming and full painting in its original colour “Signal Red 32” (matching colour). After a professional polish carried out with an orbital polisher in our workshop, we noted a very small dent on the engine cover. The bumpers and chrome-covered rubbers are perfectly aligned. The rear bumper and rubbers show light oxidation marks. The soft top in black faux leather is presentable. Its installation is easy and its watertightness complies with the model’s standards. The rear window masks show no cracks or crazing and are clear. This example is fitted with the option of a capote cover and tonneau cover. These are in excellent condition. The 4 14” painted wire wheels and their chrome knock-offs are in excellent condition. All four tyres show 5% wear front and rear. This example has retained the original spare wheel as well as the jack and mallet. Among the notable exterior/ body equipment and options fitted to this example we note: the capote cover in black faux leather with white piping and the tonneau cover, as well as chrome “Obus” style mirrors. Interior: The interior is in excellent show condition. The black leather upholstery with white piping is in excellent condition. The black faux leather door panels are also in perfect condition. The wooden dashboard is in very good condition, with no cracks or splits. The faux leather cap in black shows no signs of discolouration or sagging. The entire JAEGER dashboard instrumentation as well as the LUCAS voltmeter are fully functional. The 3-spoke bakelite steering wheel with black faux leather trim is in good condition. The Triumph wood gear knob is in good condition. The black carpets are in perfect condition.
