Lovely example of the Lancia Fulvia Series 3 from 1973.
A car that has stayed in Italy in the same family from 1973 until 2018, the date its current owner bought it. A retired mechanic who carried out substantial mechanical work on the car to restore its former performance.
The "Rosso York" paint takes us back to the 1970s. A finish that was probably redone quite a few years ago, as it shows patina and a few wear defects related to time.
Having it on the lift allowed us to confirm the good condition of the chassis and the sills.
Four new aluminium wheels were fitted.
The interior is as-original and unrestyled, which gives it real character.
The door panels and seats are in good condition. The carpets would benefit from a thorough clean but are not damaged.
Only the dashboard is slightly worn.
The instrumentation is functional.
Mechanically, a major refresh has been carried out and many parts replaced:
- Clutch kit
- 2 rear Rekord shock absorbers
- 4 brake caliper seal kits + pads
- Silicone brake fluid
- Rear suspension silent blocks
- Complete exhaust system
- Ignition kit
- Belts and alternator
- Electric fuel pump
A rebuild/ remount of the carburettors with joint changes and refurbishment, as well as a valve clearance adjustment, was carried out. The water pump and the timing have been checked.
